Kampung asli
After a long days hike in the National Park Taman Negara, we decided to have a little stroll around the kampung asli next to our A framed hut. The little boy was accompanied by his sister when she saw us picking up our camera. She was very shy but sat down so lovely.
Edinburgh
During a wonderfull tour by a student of Edinburgh University, we passed this street. It was called after a team of murderers who choked their victims with pillows to be able to sell them to the Med School, who could use corpuss for their education to med students. Since I am a med student, this was a very interesting story. With the sun dropping in the background, the view was admirable!
Southbank
Most of the people visiting Brisbane know to find Southbank. It's the place to relax, enjoy art and musea. And take a ride in the giant white wheel.
Clearwater Beach
After visiting a very busy conference in Orlando, I decided to rent a car and cruise towards the west for a couple of days. The contrast between being surrounded by thousands of people and being alone again was overwhelming and is very well depicted by this serene picture.

On a deserted beach at Bruny Island we found al these amazing shells and jellyfish look-a-likes.. Life so small taken from up close is so big. Enjoy the little things in life and feel great.
Visibility

Pelican
About a dozen of Pelicans were waiting for fisherman to through them some left overs of the cought fish. This one just finished brushing his feathers and sat there so peacefully..
Platypuss
Een goede site om de platypus in het wild te spotten is Eungella NP, 1 uur ten westen van Mackay. Zorg dat je hier op een bewolkte dag bent, of kom tussen 4-8 am of

Thoughts of just taking a photograph of a flower in the tree... turns out the whole tree is covered with the most colourfull beetles I've ever seen.
Simplicity
There are so many beautifull things going on... just look down and capture them!

The colours were truly amazing and it looked as if though the pole of the fishing net splitted the sunset in half...
