Kwihi Tree
Oranjestad,
Nederlandse Antillen
Aruba's vegetation has adapted well to its dry environment with desert landscape covered by rare cactuses, Aloe and the Kwihi Tree.
Kwihi actually is an Indian word, unfortunatly I don't know what it means, sometimes it is mistaken for the Divi Tree but it has an entirely different shape.
The local people use the wood from this tree for making furniture.
