Simple Architecture

Curacao,
Nederlandse Antillen

These kunuku houses are built from limbs of divi-divi trees that have been woven together, packed with mud and dung, and then covered with lime and aloe.
Long ago tree limbs and corn stalks were woven together to form the roof but now a days they have galvanized (zink) roofs, electricity and running water.
The toilets are always built in the back away from the house.
