Moraine lake is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet (1,885 m). The lake has a surface area of .5 square kilometres (0.19 sq MI).
After you have seen the lake at the top, and you decend there you can see driftwood piling up at the end of the Lake where the water drains out from the lake.
There is a nice restaurant and gift shop where you can have a rest after the climb.
