This is the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel located in the heart of Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Few hotels in the world rival the majesty, hospitality and grandeur of The Fairmont Banff Springs resort also know as
"THE GRAND OLD LADY OF THE ROCKIES" ,which was built between spring of 1887 and 1888 by the Canadian Railway Pacific.
As you can see directly behind the Banff Springs Hotel the river flows over Bow Falls.
