Street Food XI - cycling through the countryside surrounding Mrauk U, one of my favorite pastimes in Burma. Stopping at markets, stopping for tea or a snack at the road side stalls.
Most people walk to and fro to the morning market and chore that needs to be done everyday, having no ice or koelkast te keep produce fresh. This woman set up her stall each morning outside her home to sell snacks to the passers-by.
A simple shop but her living.
It is now possible again to travel to this area with permits. (see tip)
