A few weekends ago, we had some beautiful autumn weather with clear blue skies. Saturday we were busy with errands etc and made plans to leave early Sunday morning and drive to the Amsterdamse Waterleding Duinen. It was also the rutting season for the deer and I hoped to see some.
So armed with cameras and picnic and full of expectation, we left Vlaardingen. As we approached Nieuw Vennep we drove into the mist and the mist stayed with us the entire day. Via sms we heard that the weather in Vlaardingen was gorgeous and even warm. Later I have seen photos taken by friends that had ventured south that day, gorgeous autumn colours and blue sky, but unfortunately not for me. However, I do like these few photos of the day, or maybe I am just clutching at straws.
