Its all too funny

Yangon,
Myanmar

A tea-shop on the Sule Pagoda road in Yangon. While she tries very hard not to look at me and the camera and to concentrate on her cooking, her friend almost collapses with laughter in the corner of the shop.

It depends on the owner of the shop whether the snacks offered are more Burmese, Indian or Chinese. A variety of snacks are put on your table you pay for what you eat.
Burmese tea is always served with sweet condensed milk. To drink it you sip from the cup or if the tea is too hot you pour it into a plate and sip from the plate.Served with the tea you will find a complimentary pot of Chinese tea that will be refilled as much as you like. If you prefer coffee you can order freshly brewed "ka fe" which will also be served with sweet condensed milk. Make sure the waiter gives you Burmese coffee and not the more-and-more popular instant coffee mix.
