As I already mentioned, its worth taking your time while visiting the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, there is so much to see apart from the main pagoda, and also worth visiting at different times of the day. Just after dawn it is busy with worshipers and the light is nice and the air still fresh, in the late afternoon the warm sun makes the gold glow. And at night thousands of lights twinkle around the pagodas.
