Dearest reader,
I’M HAPPY TO REPORT I CONQUERED THE JETLAG FROM HELL!
So now I feel like I’m on the road again. Figuratively, and even literally; I drove the motorbike again and remembered how great that used to feel. I could drive for hours if I had to. The speed feels like a sense of freedom, and the seeking for the surprises nature has to offer brings me joy. All this green and being outside, it feels clear to me that that’s very close to our essence. Just like music and some literature, nature has the ability to really touch me.
IT’S NOT HARD GETTING USED TO AN ENVIRONMENT SUCH AS BALI. BUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AMSTERDAM AND INDONESIA COULDN’T GET ANY BIGGER
Suddenly ideas pop into my head, things I want to write about, things I wanna draw, things I want to do or see, almost any form of creativity, except for making music, unfortunately. Well, can’t have everything. Anytime my mind drifts away, starting to worry about anything, I make sure to ease it. Sometimes it feels like a day job, but I guess that’s just the period of transition I have got to go through right now. It might take some days to get used to the fact that my life isn’t built on certainties anymore..
I only wished I had a place where I could settle for a while, since I’m hopping from hotel to hotel between Ubud and Canggu. I’m looking for a place I can call my home. I want to unpack my bags, hang my clothes in a closet and discover my new neighborhood. I’ll put my energy and faith in finding myself a home. I think faith must be the header of this chapter of my life, it comes and goes..
BUT I TRY TO LET IT WAIT JUST AROUND THE CORNER EVERY TIME IT DISAPPEARS.
With love,
Loekie
