I didn't recognize the marks on his forehead which was the perfect excuse to begin a conversation with him. I had noticed him earlier and found him photogenic.
He tells me the marks are the personal marks of his guru, and his distinct clothing is from his ashram also. He is a curious about me too and asks a few questions, he is pleased that I have a nose-stud. Its strange I have had this nose stud for more than thirty years and forget about it completely, remembering only when someone comments, it used to happen here in Europe much more often, but since piercings become more commonplace, no one seems to notice anymore.
After our chat, he of course was willing for me to take his photo.
