It's almost time to leave Kanchipuram. Tonight their is a special celebration in the Vishnu temple that we want to see but if we are to leave tomorrow, we need to buy bus tickets. A visit to the busy, chaotic, dirty bus station. Our journey will be less than 3 hours we found out, we are going to Gingee. Luckily, the bus station master speaks pretty good English and we are assured that it is a direct bus and our Rupees 44 ticket we give us two good seats. The bus leaves at 8:30 tomorrow morning. We are all set. But first we take some time to walk around the bus station and take some photos.

Kanchipuram, as I mentioned is also famous for its silk, women come from far around to buy their silk saris for special occasions at the massive Kanchipuram Silk Store. It looks as if these women had a successful shopping spree.
