In my thoughts today are the millions of people of Pakistan and Himachal Pradesh that have lost their lives and livlihood by the devasting monsoon rains.
About 14 million people have now been affected by the flooding, and figures are expected to rise in the coming days.
While Leh, Ladakh and Spiti are trying to cope with their disaster I am surprised to see Columbus still advertise "avondtuurlijke vakanties". in the areas, shouldn't the advertising be a little more sensitive?
