When I embarked on my trip to Tibet, I decided to start my travels in Chengdu (China). At night I visited the Sichuan opera, a colorful spectacle filled with music, dance, acrobats and acts in which the performers change their mask within a split second. This beautyful portrait is of one of the performing artists and reminds me of the inspiring ambiance during this unique opera.
