It is known that the Hassan 2 Mosque can accomodate 25.000 people, 5.000 of those are women.
They are only allowed to the women's galleries which is made of beautifully carved of dark wood,cedar and beech wood lining which is painted with reddish tones to contrast with the pastel colours of the the exquisitely carved stucco.
