Atlanta is de grootste stad en ook de hoofdstad van Georgia. Deze stad in het zuidoosten van het land is minder populair dan bijvoorbeeld New York of Chicago, maar ook hier is genoeg te beleven. Bezoek bijvoorbeeld de Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, het Georgia Aquarium, het CNN Center, het Margaret Mitchell House and Museum of de World of Coca-Cola.
