First snake encounter in the wild
Puntarenas,
Costa Rica
This was my first snake encounter!! I have to admit, I was a bit nervous shooting this photo. Lucky it turned out to be a Non Benomous snake. The green vine snake is diurnal and mildly venomous. The reptile normally feeds on frogs and lizards using its binocular vision to hunt. They are slow moving, relying on camouflaging as a vine in foliage.
