Bonifacio lies at the most southerly tip of Corsica, facing the Mediterranean Sea and Sardinia.The town is dramatically perched atop of the high cliffs. The old town has a distinctly Italianian feel: with its sun-bleached townhouses, and chapels that cram the web of alleyways.
