The sunrises as we float over the pagodas of Bagan. Its wonderfully quiet up here and a magical sight. In a few hours time the pagodas of Bagan will once again be full of tourists, not only foreigners but Burmese tourists.
It has been over 10 years since I last visited Bagan, its changed. Gone are the days where you could easily find your own pagoda for sunrise and sunset. Gone are the days where you could cycle on virtually empty roads. But from up here it looks the same.
Tip 1: If you havent been to Bagan yet - go soon.
Tip 2: If you have been to Bagan, remember it how it was and dont go back.
