We reached the most northern point of Corsica, the village of Barcaggio after a long, hot walk, along the Sentier des Dounanier. A shower and a cold beer was very much appreciated.
Here we sip our beer looking across the harbour to the island Giraglia. The lighthouse on the island was first constructed in 1573 by the Genovese, and has been rebuilt several times since.
