Happy families
Rakhine,
Myanmar
I always travel slowly, under the motto, 'less is more' and staying for a few weeks in a small village such as this gives the villagers chance to get used to me. This is a typical family home, much of the family life takes place on the verandah, the family sleep together on the mattresses on the floor in the room behind. Privacy (for the parents) is not an issue.
As a PS I am still in touch with people in the village and everyone is doing well, Covid-19 has not, (fortunately as there is only a rudimentary health infrastructure in place,) touched the area.
