My first stop in Northern Sulawesi, on a beautiful 3 km unspoilt beach, jungle to the waters edge. A few cottages to rent on the beach only 12 europeans staying there and the others being divers, and what do divers do all day -- dive. Therefore, we had the entire beach to ourselves sharing it only with a few stray dogs and many birds and butterflies. As non-divers we enjoyed snorkelling in the coral reef just a few meters from shore. You can see the coral reef very cleary in the photo and the channel that the fisherman have made to allow access to the sea. In the distance two volcanos and the Tangkoko National park home of the tarsier. For now enjoy the tranquility, it may not last........as I explained in my earlier upload. (Green not Gold)
