We were visiting a mosque or at least the gardens surrounding the mosque and struck up a conversation with this woman. Normal questions, where was I from? why I am here? Her face being covered made me focus even more on her eyes as we talked. I could see her smile in her eyes. May I take a photo? I asked I really wanted the just eyes, but she had other ideas as I soon as I stared framing the picture she started to unwrap herself. I have two portraits but this is my favorite before she is fully unwrapped. She on the other hand liked the other portrait best.
