I spent many hours in the morning market of Rajshahi. The first day without my camera, getting used to the people and moreover letter them get used to me. Not many tourists stop at Rajshahi, so two whities with cameras stick out like a sore thumb.
The second day making small-talk, showing photos of our kids and grandkids, (which breaks the ice) gathering their stories and their confidence to stand before of my portrait lens. No zooming, up tight.
He is a porter in the vegetable market, carrying huge and heavy sacks from the lorries parked on the main road to the lock-up sheds and stalls in the market.
