There are many, many small shop-owners in Bangladesh, its hard to imagine how they make living on the trade that they have, but they seem to. I hope for them that the Bangladeshi government does not become victim of pressure from the Walmart's and tesco's of the world and allow license to operate as the Indian government has recently allowed.
It would be "a nail in the coffin" for small business-men, such as this proud sweet shop owner who had inherited the sweet shop by the school in Dhaka from his father, I fear.
