I mentioned in my last photo that the grandmother was in the kitchen cooking our meal while the children sat and watched us. Here she is, in her simple but organized kitchen. The fire and floor of the kitchen is made from a mixture of clay and cow poop, (good to keep the flies away in the summer!!). A few basic utensils is all she needs to cook the family dinner of rice, curried vegetables lentils.
