Although the current government promotes the education of children in Bangladesh with programs that include compulsory primary education for all, and free education for girls up to grade 10, drop out rates and poor attendance is high.
These children are not part of that statistic as they head up the hill to school. The brightly colored fleeces they wear are donated by Unicef.
